Lazy Budget Planner

I did it! I finally made a savings/ budget planner that works for me. It is incredibly low-maintence and perfect for lazy people who just want to make sure that they're growing their savings.

The planner itself is just two sheets:

1. Balance - to note down your savings and investment accounts and see how you're faring
2. Expenses - to forecast your yearly expenses, big and small (discretionary expenses, investments, insurance and subscriptions). Add your salary into this sheet and viola! you'll have a forecast of how much you're expected to save this year.

In general, I like to check my bank/ savings accounts every few months and see how much they're growing. If they're growing in line with my forecast then I'm doing great! Else, it's time to reduce expenses.

You have the freedom to be more detailed and really categorize your expenses. But I prefer not to, because unless there was a big purchase, you're likely to be just cabbing or dining out too much.
